PAGD: Gupkar Alliance Was Broken As Sajjad Lone Separated

PAGD: The Gupkar alliance was broken as PC parted its ways, parties formed an alliance, but the workers never met. Even though the public support in the new Jammu and Kashmir was slipping.

The Kashmiri parties tried to come under one umbrella in the name of the People’s Alliance for Group Declaration (PAGD), but with the formation, the alliance was broken.

This alliance started on 15 October 2020 within three months of its alliance. Initially, the PAGD had claimed to remain away from the electoral politics until the resumption of Article 370, but the PAGD had also announced to contest elections as soon as the District Development Council (DDC) elections were announced in Jammu and Kashmir.

From the very first day, it was being said that the political parties involved in PAGD have formed alliances only to find a safe excuse to go among the people and it will start to disintegrate once the elections are over.

The DDC election process has been completed only last month. Even before the DDC elections, the leaders of the Gupkar Alliance tried to show up together, but their activists never liked the coming together of the opponents of Kashmir’s politics.

This also had an impact on the selection of candidates and that is why coalition candidates in dozens of seats were pitted against each other. Because of this, parties like PDP and the People’s Conference felt that they suffered more.

Particularly against the National Conference, both parties were seen expressing resentment from time to time. After the election, the National Conference also indicated that they had done what they wanted to gain from the alliance.

Please tell that in the DDC election, after the BJP (75 seats), the National Conference (67 seats) emerged as the largest party. Differences began to appear after the election: It was only after the DDC election results were declared that differences between the PAGD constituents started to become public.

These differences became more apparent when Mehbooba opted out of the first meeting of the coalition after the DDC election.

After this, senior People’s Conference leader Maulana Imran Raza Ansari also wrote a letter demanding strict action against the PAGD constituents who have defeated the authorized candidates of PAGD.

People’s Conference chairman Sajjad Ghani Lone was constantly under pressure from the leaders of his organization to either separate from the PAGD or ensure action against those who have defeated its candidates while in the PAGD.

Gupkar gang understands the truth: Altaf Thakur. Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and spokesperson Altaf Thakur said that the Gupkar group is a party built on the basis of lies of the opportunists.

The makers of this gang demanded votes by convincing people to bring Article 370 back. Now many gang members have understood the truth that it is impossible. They have understood that Article 370 is now buried 370 feet deep under the ground.

Beginning of ending the secret: Altaf Bukhari. Jammu and Kashmir Party Chairman Altaf Bukhari said that the opportunistic grouping alliance has already started to end. it had to happen. From the very first day, the leadership of PJD has been involved in cheating people.

The leadership of the National Conference and the Peoples Democratic Party should seriously stop the politics of exploitation of the common people while introspectively.

NC hopes to have no effect on PAGD: Senior National Conference leader and MP Hasnain Masudi said that the PAGD would not be affected by the separation of the People’s Conference. In a democracy, everyone has the right to express his opinion.

After the decision of Sajjad Gani Lone, Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti should remain united, they should withstand every pressure.
