PAGD Meeting: PAGD Again Raged For Restoration Of Article 370

PAGD Meeting: Gupkar again raged for the restoration of Article 370, said – will be sought from the Center, the account of achievements in two years.

The People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) has again started chanting for the restoration of Article 370.

PAGD will also knock on the door of the Parliament and the people of the country to restore the constitutional status before August 5, 2019, in Jammu and Kashmir and get back Article 370.

This decision was taken in a meeting of senior leaders of PAGD constituents held on Thursday morning at the residence of National Conference President and former Chief Minister Dr. Farooq Abdullah.

Significantly, on Thursday, two years have been completed by removing Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir.

Dr. Farooq is the Chairman of PAGD. While PDP President and former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti are the Vice President of PAGD. PAGD was formed in October last year.

The purpose of PAGD is to reinstate Articles 370 and 35A and repeal the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Act.

PAGD Vice President Mehbooba Mufti and Convener Mohammad Yusuf Tarigami reached Dr. Farooq Abdullah’s residence at around 11 am.

Acting President of Awami National Conference Muzaffar Shah also reached his maternal uncle’s house in no time.

After this, the meeting between these leaders lasted for about two hours.

In this, the current situation and the current status of petitions filed in the court against the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Act were discussed.

Tarigami said that all the promises made by the central government while removing Article 370 are incomplete to date.

It was said that the situation would be completely normal here, terrorist violence would end, but terrorism is still the same as before.

Every day a young man is picking up a gun from some area or the other.

The way in which the Center has abrogated Article 370 in an unconstitutional manner has alienated the common Kashmiri from Indian democracy and mainstream.

He said that it was decided in the meeting that PAGD would knock on the door of every citizen to get back what was snatched on August 5, 2019.

The issue will be discussed in Parliament. In two years, the account of the alleged achievements of the central government in Jammu and Kashmir will be sought.
