The Udupi district administration has decided to reopen the Blue Flag Certificate Padubibari Beach to domestic and foreign tourists.

District Deputy Commissioner G. Jagadish said that all the work related to the reopening of the Blue Flag Certificate Padubibari Beach.

The work has been completed in collaboration with the Union Ministry of Environment and the Society of Integrated Coastal Management (SICOM).

The Blue Flag Certified Padubibari Beach received international recognition on 11 October along with seven other beaches in the country.
