Operation Blue Star Anniversary: Event at Shri Harimandir Sahib, extremists raised swords amid Khalistani slogans.
In June 1984, Ghallughara Day was celebrated in memory of the Sikhs killed during the military action at Sri Harimandir Sahib.
Banners with ‘Khalistan Zindabad’ and ‘Khalistan Sada Haq Hai’ appeared in the hands of many extremists. Posters of Bhindranwala were waved and flags and swords of Khalistan were also waved.
After the Bhog of Akhand Path Sahib in the morning, the families of the martyrs were honored by the Jathedar of Akal Takht and the officials of Shiromani Committee.
As soon as the Jathedar of Akal Takht, Giani Harpreet Singh started issuing messages in the name of the community.
At that time the slogans of Khalistan Zindabad were started on behalf of the workers of Dal Khalsa, Akali Dal Amritsar and Sarbat Khalsa.

Akali Dal Amritsar President Simranjit Singh Mann along with his son and a large number of workers reached Shri Akal.
As soon as he started the message in the name of the sect, the voice of Gurbani Kirtan on behalf of Shiromani Committee became very loud.
The slogans of Khalistan Zindabad continued for a long time from the supporters of Mann. The families of the martyrs also reached.
Bhai Ishwar Singh, son of Jarnail Singh Bhindrawala arrived. He was also honored by Shiromani Committee and Panthak organizations.
This time many old Khalistan supporters and persons involved in terrorist activities also reached the Akal Takht. During this, swords were also waved.
Police stationed outside the gate of Sri Harimandir Sahib. Deep Sidhu, the main accused in the Red Fort Violence case, has also reached the program.
A large number of police and security forces were also deployed on all the roads leading to and coming to Sri Harimandir Sahib. A large number of SGPC also deployed its task force inside Sri Harimandir Sahib.
Punjab Police personnel and women police personnel were stationed in civil clothes inside the premises. Sangat reached Sri Harimandir Sahib.
Awakening Earlier, on the anniversary of Operation Bluestar last day, a Ghallughara Yamadari March was organized by Dal Khalsa.
Late in the evening, activists of Dal Khalsa and Sikh Youth of Punjab reached Bhai Gurdas Hall on Heritage Street.
While organizing a seminar there, the martyrs were remembered while making the youth aware of the history of Apparition Blue Star.
During this, the leaders of the organization Kanwarpal Singh Bittu, Harpal Singh Cheema, Paramjit Singh Mand, Paramjit Singh Tanda etc. while addressing said that apparition is an event to be forgotten for operation Blue Star.

The workers marched from Bhai Gurdas Hall to Sri Harimandir Sahib and to pay homage to the martyrs of June 1984, mass Ardas was performed by the activists at Sri Akal Takht Sahib.
Political system to blame for not getting justice: Deep Sidhu.
Punjabi artist Deep Sidhu, accused of Red Fort violence, said after paying obeisance at Sri Darbar Sahib that even after 37 years, history is telling the truth.
The Darbar Sahib was hit by bullets and Sri Guru Granth Sahib was injured, martyrs took place, innocent children and people were killed. Truth is never hidden.
Today the whole of Punjab is on Martyr’s Day and remembering the peaceful martyrs. Deep Sidhu said that today we are moving forward only after taking lessons from what happened to the community in 1984.
Even after 37 years, the political system is to blame for not getting justice for the community. When you go to seek justice, the political system is such that you cannot talk about your rights.
On the one hand the Defense Minister encourages the Sikh Regiment, on the same if we ask for our rights in the peasant movement, then we seem anti-national. Deep Sidhu said that no one has given justice be it Congress or BJP.
If there is a demonstration for peaceful entitlement in a democracy, then it should have a place in it, but ironically it is not happening in our system.
Agricultural law is a state subject, only if it was imposed by the Centre, such a situation could arise.
