NIA raids SDPI leader’s house in connection with BJP worker’s murder.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has raided the capital Bengaluru in the Karnataka BJP youth leader Praveen Nettaru murder case.

NIA raided the residence of Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) leader Riyaz Farangipet on Thursday.

It is being told that this raid has been done in the case of the Phulwari Sharif Terror Module in Bihar. The NIA team had reached Dakshina Kannada district for raids.

Sources had initially said that the NIA raids were conducted in connection with the murder of BJP worker Praveen Kumar Nettare.

But, now it is being told that this raid is a follow-up of information.

NIA said that Akhtar Parvez and retired police officer Mohammad Jalaluddin were arrested and during their interrogation in the Phulwari Sharif terror module case in Bihar, Riyaz Farangipete’s name surfaced.

NIA raids SDPI leader’s house: Raid on a residence located on BC Road.

According to the agency’s report, officials are searching his residence in Bantwal taluk near BC Road.

Sources said that Akhtar and Jalaluddin disclosed their relationship with Riyaz Farangipete during the investigation.

Sources said that the raids were carried out in connection with gathering evidence regarding spreading hatred as well as creating terror in the area.

Murder to spread panic – NIA.

Earlier, the NIA had said that Praveen was murdered to spread panic. The attackers wanted to avenge the killing of Masood and spread panic among the local people.

The police have arrested Zakir Savanur, Mohammed Shafiq Bellare, Sheikh Saddam Hussein, and Mohammad Harris in this connection.

Recalling the 75th Independence Day, she said that she was hurt that the Governor was not allowed to hoist the flag on August 15.
