NIA Detained Accused In Thane in Mansukh Hiren case

NIA detained accused in Thane in Mansukh Hiren case: Maharashtra. The NIA has detained the accused in Thane, Maharashtra on Wednesday in the case of Mansukh Hiren’s death.

The accused were also brought to the NIA office in Mumbai. At the same time, the Sessions Court of Thane has directed the Maharashtra ATS to immediately hand over the investigation of Mansukh Hiren’s murder to the NIA.

Thane’s Chief Judicial Magistrate PP Ingle has directed the ATS to hand over all the documents and evidence related to the said case to the NIA.

On the other hand, the NIA has also imposed the UAPA Act on Sachin Waze arrested in the Antilia case.

Magistrate PP Ingle has said in his order that the ATS officials should not pursue any investigation in the matter, and make all relevant documents and records available to NIA officials without any delay.

On behalf of the NIA, Additional Solicitor General Anil Singh told the court that the Central Government has directed the Central Investigation Agency NIA to investigate Mansukh Hiren.

While ATS lawyer Supare said that the ATS has not received any instructions from the state government to transfer the case to NIA.

But after hearing both sides, the judge said that after the directive given by the central government on March 20, the investigation of the matter should be handed over to him immediately as per Section 8 of the NIA Act.

The court order states that on March 22, the Maharashtra Director General of Police has received information about this. ATS has also received a copy of this letter.

On March 23, the Director-General of Police has also informed the state government about handing over the matter to the NIA.

On March 21, the next day after the order of the Central Government came on 20 March, the ATS Thane team arrested two people in the Mansukh Hiren case. He also has custody of the ATS till 30 March.

Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh filed a petition in the Bombay High Court.

Param Bir Singh has filed a petition in Bombay HC. Param Bir Singh in his petition in the Supreme Court challenged the transfer and also demanded a CBI inquiry against Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh.

Significantly, the Supreme Court on Wednesday (March 24) refused to hear the plea of ​​former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh.

The judgment was given by a bench of Justice SK Kaul and Justice RS Reddy in the Supreme Court on the plea of ​​IPS Parambir Singh.
