In fact, the mobile phone number that Lakhbir Singh talked about in the viral video on behalf of the Nihangs turned out to be that of its owner.

Lakhvir Singh used to do farming work while staying at his place. At present, the police have not found any direct connection of the said mobile number with the sacrilege of the scripture.

It is believed that the statement was given by the Nihangs to the police and which is in the viral video may be far from the truth.

The family wants a fair investigation.

On the other hand, the family members of Lakhbir Singh have reiterated the demand for a fair investigation into the murder.

In this episode, the Haryana Police team met Lakhvir’s wife and sister as well as their relatives in Cheema Khurd village of Tarn Taran district of Punjab.

The family members could not give any specific information to the team.

A Kundli police team went to Punjab under the leadership of SI Ranbir Singh. The team met the family members of the deceased Lakhbir there.

After that, the team also reached Hawelia village in the neighborhood of Cheema Khurd village of Lakhbir. There the team obtained information at the house of a person named Pargat Singh.

According to information received from police sources, a video before Lakhbir’s murder has been released by the Nihangs.

Lakhbir is lying in it in a bloodied condition, his legs are tied, but till then the hand has not been cut off. In it, Lakhbir is saying that he has been sent to desecrate the holy book by giving him Rs 30,000.

He is also seen recording the mobile phone number of the sender. Police investigation revealed that the said number belongs to Pargat Singh, a resident of Hawelia village in Punjab.

Lakhbir Singh used to do farming work in his place for many years.

A new twist may come in Punjab youth’s murder: Had confessed to getting Rs 30,000 out of fear.

The police team has spoken to the family members of Pargat Singh. In the investigation so far, their direct relationship has not been found with the sacrilege of the scripture.

Police believe that Lakhbir, terrified of being killed by Nihangs and scared of death threats, told him to send 30 thousand rupees only to get rid of his chase and gave Pargat Singh’s mobile number.

He remembered Pargat Singh’s number. However, till now the police have not given a clean chit to Pargat Singh.

The police have got the call details of Pargat Singh’s mobile so that the bottom of the matter can be reached.

Suspicion of conspiracy, Lakhbir could not do sacrilege of scripture.

According to the police, Lakhbir’s family members and his relatives are also poor. They are heartbroken by Lakhbir’s death, despite the dispute among themselves.

He told that Lakhbir could not go to the horoscope alone. Somebody must have taken him.

He has been taken to Sonipat under some conspiracy and he was murdered there. Lakhbir cannot in any case desecrate the scripture.

A new twist may come in Punjab youth’s murder: There is a team of investigators in Punjab itself.

If police sources are to be believed, they have taken statements of the people living around Lakhbir, respected people of the village and those living around Pargat Singh and the sarpanch of his village, etc.

The police have yet to give details of the statements.

At the same time, it has been clarified that so far no evidence has been found of sending Lakhbir to anyone for sacrilege from the scripture. At present, another team of police is staying in Punjab itself.
