NCB questioned Prabhakar Sal for hours in a cruise drug case. Prabhakar Sail was questioned by the NCB on Monday in the cruise drug case which lasted for hours.

NCB Deputy Director General Gyaneshwar Singh said that the NCB started the process of questioning at 2 pm on Monday, which continued till late in the night and ended at 12.20 pm.

Prabhakar Sal, an independent witness in the Cardelia Cruz Drugs Party case, appeared before the Vigilance Team of NCB Delhi on Monday for questioning.

NCB had summoned Prabhakar cell on Sunday. The agency had directed him to appear before the vigilance team to record his statement.

Prabhakar Sail, accompanied by his lawyer, reached the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) mess in suburban Bandra around 2 am under police protection.

This was his first appearance in front of the NCB’s Vigilance team.

The vigilance team is probing allegations of bribery in the cruise drugs case.

The vigilance team of NCB under the leadership of Deputy Director General (Northern Zone) Dnyaneshwar Singh had reached Mumbai from Delhi on Monday morning itself.

The sail had last month claimed that he had heard KP Gosavi talking about a Rs 25 crore deal after Aryan’s arrest.

After taking over the probe into the drugs case, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the NCB on Monday visited the Cardelia cruise ship where the drugs party was allegedly held.

According to NCB, officials led by Deputy Director General Sanjay Kumar Singh visited the cruise ship. During this, NCB Regional Director Sameer Wankhede was also present with his team.

Wankhede also handed over the documents and other confiscated items related to the case to Singh. According to the media, the SIT has also issued summons to seven accused or witnesses.

Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik made another allegation against Narcotics Control Bureau officer Sameer Wankhede that his family is involved in the drug business.

In a tweet, Malik referred to a case that dates back to 2008. On this Sameer, Wankhede said that he was not even in service when the matter happened.

Wankhede is the Mumbai regional head of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and was part of the team that arrested Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan and others in a cruise drug case off the Mumbai coast.

Wankhede told the news agency, ‘I was not even in service when the matter happened in January 2008. I married Kranti Redkar in 2017, still, how am I related to this matter?
