Naxalism Is Fast Shrinking In Bastar, Chhattisgarh

Naxalism is fast shrinking in Bastar, Chhattisgarh. The police are taking the fat of the penetration of red terror from the bank accounts of the surrendered Naxalites.

Naxalism is fast shrinking in Bastar, Chhattisgarh, but the police have made many indicators to know which area is still in danger.

The most prominent in this is the bank accounts of the surrendered Naxalites, with the help of which the police get a sense of how strong the Naxalites are still in which area.

Apart from these, the activity of the people of that area, participation in government schemes, festivals and celebrations there, etc. are such indicators, through which the police assess the terror of the Naxalites.

Dantewada SP Dr. Abhishek Pallav has done MD in Psychology.

He has used the deployment in the Naxal area on the basis of his knowledge, which is showing excellent results.

The SP said that in the Dantewada district, the police are running Lone Varratu i.e. home return campaign. Under this, the Naxalites are coming every two four days to surrender.

It is clear from this that now even his cadre people are tired of violence. Indicators have been set to find out how much Naxal terror is left in the area where the Naxalites are surrendering.

In the Lone Varratu campaign, the police help the Naxalites and their relatives a lot. By going to their village, giving rations, medicines, and other necessities to the relatives.

Bank account, PAN card, Aadhar card, voter ID card, etc. of surrendered Naxalites are also made. The incentive amount released for them is deposited in the account.

If the money keeps coming out of the account, then the police assume that the threat of Naxalites in that area has reduced.

On this basis, on August 15 this year, for the first time, 15 villages have been declared Naxal-free.

These are pointers.

SP Dr. Pallav explains that the increase in the sale of vehicles in the area, the market movement of surrendered Naxalites, going to the bank for a loan, pension, etc., leaving the house to get Aadhar, and PAN card, etc. is a sign of this.

It happens that Naxalism is ending there. Bastar IG Sundarraj P said, “There are many parameters to know how much Naxalism is left in an area.

From the point of view of security, we see how much crime has come down before, and now, socio-economic parameters are also seen.

How much the standard of living has improved in an area, how much people are taking interest in jobs or studies, it is all seen. This shows how much Naxalism prevails in a place.
