NITI Aayog member Dr. VK Paul on Wednesday asked this question openly. He said that the central government has given directions to the state governments regarding the restrictions to break the chain of transition.

He also said that if anything else needs to be done in the future, it is always discussed.

State governments advised imposing night curfew.

VK Paul said that if the infection increases too much then a ban is imposed to break the chain. People’s movement is stopped.

Guidelines were issued in this regard on April 29, which said that we have to stop the transmission and in the areas where the infection rate is more than 10 percent, the governments have been advised to impose a night curfew.

State governments will take a decision. In addition, there is a ban on social, political, sports, religious mobilization.

A shopping complex, a cinema house, restaurant, bar, sports complex, swimming pool, religious place, etc. have been directed to be closed.

Nationwide Lockdown: Guidelines issued for state governments.

He said that apart from this, it has been clearly stated that the state and union territories should assess the local situation and take a decision accordingly.

Based on this guideline, the state governments are making decisions. Apart from these guidelines, if anything else is required, those options are also considered.

Guidelines have already been issued to state governments to impose sanctions to prevent infection.

The government imposed a 10-day lockdown in Himachal.

The Himachal Pradesh government on Wednesday announced a 10-day lockdown in the state to prevent the spread of coronavirus. It will start from 7 May till 16 May.

The restrictions will come into force in the state from midnight on Thursday. This decision has been taken in the cabinet meeting held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of the state Chief Minister Jairam Thakur.

According to the information, all types of private and private offices will remain closed during this curfew lasting 10 days. All employees will work from home.

During the curfew, all markets in the state will remain closed and section 144 will remain in force. The gathering of 6-7 or more people will not be allowed anywhere.

Bus service will continue in the state. With this, people coming by plane, bus, or train in the state will have to bring a 72-hour-old RT-PCR test report of Kovid.

Lockdown extended in UP till May 10, restrictions will remain in force till Monday morning.

In view of the ever-increasing corona case in UP, the Yogi government has increased the corona curfew till Monday. There was a Corona curfew on 6 May (till 7 am on Thursday), now it has been increased to 7 May on 10 May.

In this way, a lockdown has been announced for the whole week. The government has directed all district administrations to expedite vaccination and sanitization in villages.

During the lockdown, e-commerce supplies including essential items, drugstore will be kept operational.

16-hour night curfew imposed in Sikkim.

The Sikkim government has announced a 16-hour night curfew from May 6 to May 16 in the state. This curfew will start at 5 in the evening and will remain in force till 9 am.

Apart from this, the movement of people and vehicles from one district to another has also been banned. This ban will apply to all private and government vehicles.

However, the movement of vehicles engaged in the army, security personnel, and other essential services will not be stopped.

Apart from this, vehicles engaged in the supply of essential things will be allowed to move between 5 am and 8:30 am.
