Movie Tuesdays & Fridays Review: Old Love Story With A New Twist

Movie Tuesdays & Fridays Review: Old love story with a new twist. Movie – Tuesdays & Fridays   Main cast – Anmol Thakeria Dhillo, Jatalika Malhotra, Nikki Walia.

Director – Taranveer Singh  Duration – 1 hour 46 minutes Rating – 2.5

The movie made by Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s production company is often seen with plush sets and large scales. However, in his production, a film like Malal was made recently, whose set and story were simple.

The story of the film Tuesdays and Fridays is also simple. The story begins in Mumbai which reaches London.

Writer Varun Sarin (Anmol Thakeria Dhillo) meets lawyer Sia Malhotra (Jatalika Malhotra) about the filmmaking rights to his famous book.

The story reaches London, where Sia arrives at the wedding of her mother, Dr. Radhika Malhotra (Nikki Walia). Varun and Sia meet again at a coffee house there. The family of both Varun and Sia is scattered.

The father of both does not live with the family. Because of this both of them do not have much confidence in the relationship. Varun believes that every relationship has an expiry date.

Siya starts liking Varun. For Varun, who believes in the expiry date, she makes a plan that the two will meet only on Tuesday and Friday.

If after some time, he felt that he does not live together, he would be separated without asking any questions.

This is the first film of director Taranvir Singh as a director. He has also written the story of the film. The story is simple, but the concept that meets two days a week is new in the love story.

However, the end of the story will be foreseen by the audience. It is difficult to make every moment special in the love story, even though Taranveer has missed it, but according to the first film, his effort was good.

The daughter’s yes to a mother’s marriage at age 50 strikes an orthodox view, where marriage is tied to age.

Although Taranveer could not show this track very much. Some of the shortcomings lie in the screenplay, as Varun’s mother seems to have a mild reason to break up the relationship, the track of the coffee shop’s Khala seems a bit redundant in the story.

The love story has its songs, but there is no song that can be remembered. Anmol Thakeria Dhillon and Jatalika Malhotra, sons of actress Poonam Dhillon, have debuted with the film.

According to the first film, the performance of both the actors is commendable. The dialogues of the film, like – love never comes with a guarantee of a hundred percent happiness, but it is not like the heart is open.

It does not happen when the heartbreaks, neither do we recognize the most beautiful relationships in life. Love maintains the feel of the story.
