More Than 100 People Were Injured In Telangana

More than 100 people were injured when the Temporary gallery collapsed just before the kabaddi tournament begins in Telangana.

More than 100 people were injured when a temporary gallery collapsed on Saturday evening just before the kabaddi tournament started in Telangana’s Suryapet district.

This information has been given to the local police. The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital. Five of them have fractured. The severity of the injuries to others has not yet been ascertained.

The temporary gallery collapsed, apparently due to a weak structure made of wood and other materials. However, the exact cause of the accident will be known only after investigation.

Footage of the accident and downed people were broadcast on local news channels. A senior police officer said that the audience could not be moved immediately after the fall.

He was taken to the hospital by ambulance, police vehicles, and other vehicles. DSP of Suryapet R Bhaskaran said that we are monitoring the situation in both the gallery and the hospital.

The accident occurred just before the start of the 47th Junior National Kabaddi Championship. The tournament was being jointly organized by the Telangana Kabaddi Association and Kabaddi Association of Suryapet District.

Retirement age increased to 61 years with 30% fitment in salary to government employees and teachers in Telangana

The Telangana government has increased the retirement age from 58 to 61 years with a 30 percent fitment in the salary of all government employees and teachers.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao announced this effect in the state assembly.

Chief Minister said- nine lakh employees and pension holders will get benefits by increasing the retirement age.

He said that this would benefit around 9.17 lakh employees and pension holders. It also includes contract workers and outsourcing workers. The salary of all these will be increased from April 1, 2021.

Chief Minister Rao said – 30 percent fitment will be given to all employees and teachers in salary

Rao said, ‘I am happy to announce that 30 percent fitment in salary will be given to all the employees and teachers of the state.

This order will be implemented from April 1, 2021. Chief Minister said- 11th pay review delayed due to the coronavirus epidemic.

He said the Coronavirus epidemic has affected the state’s economy and the 11th wage review has been delayed due to an unprecedented increase in the fiscal deficit.
