Monsoon session preparations start the Covid-19 test compulsory, before entering the Telangana assembly. Telangana Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy has announced that it will be mandatory for all MLAs and staff to undergo the Covid-19 test before coming to the assembly and only those with negative tests will be allowed entry.
For the monsoon session starting on September 7, the Speaker has said that a face mask will be mandatory for all members. He said, ‘We will do thermal screening, a rapid test of the health of the members of the assembly will be done. For this, two separate diagnostic centers are being built.
Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy made the announcement while speaking to reporters on the preparations for the beginning of the monsoon session in the Telangana Assembly. He said that it is mandatory for all MLAs and MLCs to conduct the Covid-19 test. And only those people whose certificates have been corona test reports negative will be prepared.
Only then will they be allowed to attend the session. This condition applies to the police, assembly staff members, department officials, and staff entering the assembly premises, as well as media persons covering the session. The assembly speaker said, ‘Covid-19 Test will be necessary before the start of the session.
Only then will they be given passes to enter the assembly. He said that out of the 119 MLAs who have already got their tests done, their report is negative. He further informed that all MPs will be given a medical kit that will have an oximeter, thermometer, and sanitizer. It is noteworthy that those whose blood oxygen will be less than 90 percent will not get admission to the assembly.
Facilities like thermal screening and sanitizer will be provided at the entrance itself. It is noteworthy that the Central Government has decided that every MP who will attend the Monsoon Session of Parliament will have to undergo the Covid-19 Test. Without this test, no one will be able to enter the Lok Sabha or the Rajya Sabha.
