In its supplementary charge sheet, the CBI claimed that British citizen Christian James Mitchell, a middleman in the AgustaWestland VVIP helicopter scam case, paid Rs 92 lakh to Gautam Nayyar, Shashi Bhushan Sharma, and his families, two Indian Air Force officers between 2009 and 2013.

Bought air tickets. Apart from this, he invested Rs 6.3 crore in Media Exim Private Limited in 10 installments between 2005 and 2007. A report by the leading news agency said that it had formed this company to export music CDs with Delhi-based businessman Ramesh Kumar Nanda.

This supplementary charge sheet of 12 thousand pages was filed in a Delhi court last month. Accordingly, in a statement to CBI, Nanda told that one of his friends Sethuraman (now deceased) had asked him to do business with Michelle.

Now Nanda, who has become a government witness, told that Mitchell had sent the said amount to the company’s HSBC and Citibank accounts.

These include a flat in Safdarjung Enclave in 2005 for Rs 54 lakh, a farmhouse in Satbari for Rs 1 crore, a flat in Ishwar Nagar for Rs 2.6 crore, and a plot in Gurugram for Rs 76 lakh.

Nanda said that some of these properties were sold and some were given on rent. Satbari Ansal Farm was given to Michel to live in the villa and for this he had to pay rent and security expenses of one lakh rupees through banking channels.

He sometimes stayed in the flat of Safdarjung Enclave. Nanda claimed that Mitchell had also booked tickets worth Rs 9 crore which was paid through his Dubai-based company Global Services FZE.

According to Nanda, Supreme Airways tickets were purchased from the Dubai-based company for Rs 1.6 crore out of the money received in Media Exim Private Limited.

These tickets were also booked in the names of Indian Air Force officers Gautam Nayyar, Shashi Bhushan Sharma, and their family members.

Nanda said, ‘Many times tickets were booked for Michelle on her instruction. Between 2009 and 2012, tickets worth Rs 21.94 lakh were booked for Sharma and his family members.
