Market Cap Of Companies Listed In BSE At All-time High

Market cap of companies listed in BSE is at an all-time high, a New high for the Indian stock market.

Amidst the recent boom in the Indian stock market, the domestic stock market has achieved a new height.

The market cap of companies listed on the BSE reached the highest level of Rs 283 lakh crore for the second consecutive day on Friday.

On Friday, the 30-share BSE Sensex closed at 59,793.14, up 104.92 points, or 0.18 percent. At one point during trading, it had reached the 60,000 mark.

Rise in shares The market cap of companies listed on the BSE reached its all-time high of Rs 2,83,03,925.62 crore. Investors’ wealth also increased by Rs 2,16,603.93 crore in two days.

Amol Athawale, deputy vice-president of technology research, Kotak Securities Limited, said that the market was limited on Friday.

However, the Sensex reaching 60,000 during trading shows investor confidence in the domestic economy.

The continuous bullish atmosphere in the market.

Nifty closed at the level of 17,833.35 with 34.60 points or 0.19 percent on Friday, the last trading day of this week. The market was also bullish on its last trading day on Thursday.

On Thursday, the 30-share BSE Sensex closed at 59,688.22 with a gain of 659.31 points, or 1.12 percent. On the other hand, the Nifty closed at 17,798.75 with a gain of 174.35 points or 0.99 percent.

Foreign investors beat the market further.

Foreign investors are re-investing in the Indian market after 9 consecutive months of selling since October 2021. Foreign investors infused over Rs 51,200 crore into Indian equity markets in August.

This is the highest inflow in 20 months, according to depository data. Due to stability in oil prices and increased risk appetite, the trend of foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) has increased towards India.

Earlier in July, FPIs had made a net investment of about Rs 5,000 crore. FPIs made net buying for the first time in July after making massive net selling for nine consecutive months.

They pulled out Rs 2.46 lakh crore from the Indian equity markets between October 2021 and June 2022.
