A large part of it is used in terrorism
A large part of this black money is used to keep the terrorist and separatist network alive in the state. Therefore, for the destruction of the ecosystem of terrorists and separatists, the destruction of narco-terror and drug syndicates is also necessary.
This will be possible in Jammu and Kashmir only when the elements involved in it are given strict legal punishment along with the confiscation of their black money.
Major Crackdown on Narco-Terrorism: Crores of rupees are deposited in these accounts
The spokesperson said that crores of rupees are deposited in the frozen accounts. A detailed investigation of the transactions related to all the accounts is being done. Freezing these accounts has effectively blocked access to financial resources used by the drug smuggling network.
The frozen bank accounts belong to the elements who have been arrested in connection with cases registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act in the Srinagar district.
