Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh Resigns

Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh resigns. Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has given resignation to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Monday.

This information was given by the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) source. Here, NCP leader Nawab Malik said that Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has met the Chief Minister to submit his resignation.

The CM is yet to accept the resignation. According to him, following the High Court order, Home Minister Anil Deshmukh met Sharad Pawar and party leaders and said that he did not want to hold the post.

He went to the CM to submit his resignation. The party has requested the CM to accept the resignation.

Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has now resigned following an allegation made by former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh.

Deshmukh also tweeted a copy of the letter, in which he said that the High Court had given the preliminary order.

In the petition filed by advocate Jayashree, Patil was caught in the allegations by the CBI in the investigation.

According to Deshmukh, I do not have the moral right to continue in office. After the court order, I have decided to quit the job. After the court order, Deshmukh met NCP President Sharad Pawar.

The BJP was the attacker against Deshmukh after the allegation of Sachin Waze. The case of Antilia was heated up after Parambir Singh, who was removed from the post of Police Commissioner of Mumbai, wrote to the Chief Minister.

Parambir alleged in the alleged letter that Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh wanted to recover Rs 100 crore every month from the police officers.

Parambir Singh was transferred from the post of Mumbai Police Commissioner on March 17 and made him the Director-General of Home Guards. He also took up this position on 18 March.

Two days ago, state Home Minister Anil Deshmukh told a TV channel that Parambir’s transfer was not a normal administrative transfer. He has been removed from his post as a result of some serious omissions on his behalf.

Disgusted by this allegation, Parambir Singh, writing an eight-page long letter to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on 20 March, has not only refuted what the Home Minister had said in his relation but also made a sensational accusation of recovery.

He said that the Home Minister himself had instructed him and other police officers of Mumbai including API Sachin Waze to recover Rs 100 crore every month from bars, restaurants, etc. in Mumbai.

Parambir has also written excerpts from his WhatsApp chat to an officer to confirm his allegation. He said that these allegations can also be confirmed from the call detail record of Sachin Waze.

In his purported letter, Parambir Singh writes that Home Minister Anil Deshmukh called the Crime Intelligence Unit’s API Sachin Waze one day in mid-February at his official residence, Gyaneshwari.

At that time, one or two staff members, including his personal secretary, Palande, were present in the chamber of the Home Minister. In front of him, Deshmukh told me that you have to collect 100 crore rupees in a month.

The Home Minister himself also explained the way for this and said that there are about 1,750 bars and establishments in Mumbai.

If you take two to three lakh rupees every month, then you can easily accumulate Rs 40-50 crores. The remaining amount will have to be raised from other sources.

Two days later, Deshmukh called Sanjay Patil, ACP of the social service branch, and DCP Bhujbal at his government residence to monitor the bar, etc.

The Home Minister discussed with him the hookah parlors of Mumbai and also told him the same mode of recovery which he had told Sachin Waze.

Parambir also alleges that the Home Minister repeatedly ignored him and called him to his subordinate officers, and thus ordered him to recover the money.

According to Parambir, he has been constantly informing him about the orders received from his subordinate home minister. Ever since the Antilia episode surfaced, BJP leaders have been saying that Sachin is a small pawn.

The name of his mastermind should be revealed. Now Parambir Singh’s letter has not only made the work of the NIA easy but has also provided a big weapon to the leaders of the opposition.

Till now, fingers have been pointed at Shiv Sena leaders in this matter. But after Anil Deshmukh’s name surfaced, now Sharad Pawar’s NCP has also come under the scanner.

After this demolition, the possibility of escalating conflict has increased significantly among the three parties involved in the Mahavikas Aghadi government of the state.

Parambir has also sent copies of his alleged letter to Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Additional Chief Secretary (Home), and Principal Secretary to the Governor.

Referring to the honors he received during his service, he has appealed to the Chief Minister to do justice by standing with constitutional values.
