M-Cap: 6 Out Of Top 10 Companies Lose Market Capitalization

M-Cap: 6 out of the top 10 Sensex companies lose market capitalization; RIL, HDFC Bank suffer the most. In terms of market capitalization, the M-cap of 6 of the 10 most valuable companies in the Sensex decreased by Rs 1,38,839.83 crore last week.

Reliance Industries and HDFC Bank suffered losses in terms of market capitalization in the business week ended on Friday. The Sensex lost 522.01 points, or 1.36 percent, last week.

The market capitalization of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) decreased by Rs 50,239.78 crore to Rs 13,10,323.21 crore in the week under review. HDFC Bank’s market cap declined by Rs 46,374.63 crore to Rs 5,67,877.74 crore.

ICICI Bank’s market capitalization decreased by Rs 22,631.74 crore to Rs 2,24,659.85 crore in the business week ended on Friday. At the same time, HDFC Bank’s market cap decreased by Rs 10,078.06 crore to Rs 3,09,254.09 crore.

ITC’s market position decreased by Rs 6,815.12 crore to Rs 2,38,660.74 crore. At the same time, the market valuation of Bharti Airtel fell by Rs 2,700.5 crore to Rs 3,02,701.60 crore.

On the other hand, the market cap of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) increased by Rs 47,054.91 crore to Rs 8,56,463.05 crore in the same period. The market capitalization of Infosys increased by Rs 18,591.83 crore to Rs 4,11,554.51 crore.

Kotak Mahindra Bank’s M-cap increased by Rs 3,481.72 crore to Rs 2,70,600.52 crore. Similarly, the market capitalization of Hindustan Unilever Limited increased by Rs 740.11 crore to Rs 5,19,931.93 crore.

Reliance Industries Limited ranked first in the list of top companies in terms of market capitalization. It was followed by TCS, HDFC Bank, HUL, Infosys, HDFC, Bharti Airtel, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ITC and ICICI Bank.
