According to sources, a few days ago two members of the Assam branch of Al Qaeda ABT i.e. Ansarullah Bangla team were arrested from here.

They were involved in anti-India activities. Their motive was to instigate the youth and through their organization carry out a big incident in Assam.

A madrasa was demolished in Assam’s Bongaigaon on Tuesday night. The Madrasa was located in Kabitari Part 4 village of Bongaigaon district.

It is known that the link of the madrasa is related to Hafizur Rahman.

The one who was arrested by the Assam Police on August 26 for being a member of the AQIS and Ansar-ul-Bangla team, was a cooperative teacher in the same madrassa.

According to a news agency report, 224 children lived in Markajul Maa Arif Kariana Madrasa. The children were removed from here at midnight, after which a bulldozer was run over it.

The District Magistrate of Bangaigaon issued an order stating that this madrasa was not built according to the government rules.

At the same time, a police source said that during the search operation, documents related to banned radical groups have been found.
