The Kerala Congress (M) group, drove by Jose K Mani, on Tuesday, said it would take a “suitable choice at the proper time” on making its next course of political move, a day after it was removed from the Congress-drove UDF.

In the interim, the Congress tried to hit a détente with the gathering expelled yesterday over the tussle on the Kottayam area panchayat boss post.

Conversing with journalists after the state chiefs of his group met here to examine its future game-plan, Mani said the UDF has cut off its “sincere relationship” with the Kerala Congress established by his late dad KM Mani.

“We have been expelled from the UDF. In such a circumstance, what is the degree for a conversation with its pioneers?” Mani stated, reacting to an inquiry on the announcements of senior Congress pioneer and previous Boss Priest Oommen Chandy demonstrating a ceasefire with the Jose group.

Mani said at present his group has no designs to join any political front. Its next course will be chosen after gatherings at different levels, he said. “We will take the suitable choice at the proper time,” he included.
