The intelligence department of Kolkata Police believes that Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) and HuJI terrorists were active in setting up bomb factories in the state.

This has come to light from the papers and materials found with the JMB terrorists arrested from Kolkata recently.

The arrested terrorists have been found to have links with al-Qaeda and Huji terrorist groups. Now the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has also started an investigation into the case.

Let us inform that after the blast in Khagragarh, Barddhaman, Bengal, about seven years ago, JMB terrorists were in the process of setting up a bomb factory in a house adjacent to the Shimulia Madrasa.

The blast took place while making bombs and explosive devices in a rented house in Khagragarh.

Two suspected JMB terrorists were killed and the third was injured. The blast, which took place on October 2, 2014, was linked to the JMB.

The JMB terrorists were once again trying to build a bomb factory in the state. The diary seized from them has exposed the conspiracy to spread terrorist activities in Bengal.

The STF has also come to know about two linkmen of the three terrorists. Both are absconding. Along with getting the house on rent, both of them had also got the Aadhar card made.

Let us inform you that three JMB terrorists were arrested from Haridevpur in Kolkata in the past. All three used to call themselves Indians.

These three used to introduce themselves to the local people as umbrella repairers and fruit and cloth sellers. Under the guise of this, these people used to do Reiki in different areas of the metropolis.

BSF thwarted infiltration and caught five Bangladeshis crossing the border, one Indian was also arrested.

BSF personnel under South Bengal Frontier have arrested five Bangladeshi nationals and an Indian illegally crossing the border along the International Border in North 24 Parganas district of Bengal.

Of these, three Bangladeshi nationals and one Indian were apprehended from the border outpost of Pani Tar, the border area of ​​153rd Corps, when they were trying to enter India from Bangladesh.

The soldiers posted on the border saw the movements of four-five suspicious persons who were trying to infiltrate illegally crossing the International Border from Bangladesh’s side.
