J&K Pulwama: two more terrorists killed In an encounter. Two terrorists were killed on Friday in an encounter with security forces in Pulwama region of Jammu and Kashmir, taking the number of ultras killed in the overnight activity to three, police said.
Security forces propelled a cordon and search activity at Meej in the Pampore region of Pulwama in South Kashmir (J&K) on Thursday morning in the wake of accepting explicit data about the nearness of there, a police official said.
He said the hunting activity transformed into an encounter after terrorists terminated upon a pursuit gathering of the forces, who fought back terrorists. One terrorist was killed in the gunfight on Thursday, however, two ultras entered a close-by the mosque to take shelter inside it, the authority said.
He said the cordon around the mosque was kept up for the duration of the night. On Friday morning, security forces utilized tear smoke shells to drive the stayed terrorists out of the mosque, the authorities stated, including the two were then killed by the powers while keeping up the holiness of the strict spot.
Inspector-General of Police, Kashmir, Vijay Kumar, said no terminating or IED was utilized to constrain the activists out if the mosque.
“Tolerance and demonstrable skill worked. No utilization of terminating an IED. Utilized tear smoke shells as they were. Kept up the holiness of the mosque. The two covering up inside mosque killed,” the IGP said.
In the interim, another encounter of militancy activity at Munand-Bandpava region of Shopian, which additionally started on Thursday, proceeded on Friday, the authority said. One terrorist was killed in the activity there on Thursday.
