Jharkhand: 130 DSPs Convicted In Criminal Cases

Jharkhand: 130 DSPs convicted in criminal cases, bribery-arms plant cases. Jharkhand Police Criminal Case News 130 Jharkhand Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) is facing departmental proceedings.

After being confirmed in the preliminary investigation of several cases, including criminal acts, negligence, and indiscipline, the department was recommended to conduct departmental proceedings from the police headquarters to the home department. After this, the Home Department has issued a notice to a DSP to give its reply, then someone is facing trial during departmental proceedings.

There are many types of allegations too. These DSPs have been found guilty in preliminary investigations in several cases, including taking bribes, rescuing coal smugglers, negligent supervision, plantation of weapons and death in custody. DSP has a total of 387 sanctioned posts in the state. There are currently 291 DSPs. 86 posts are still vacant. Like this, the DSP currently posted at half the posted DSP is facing departmental action these days.

Among the 130 DSPs facing departmental action in the state are DSP of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Sadiq A Rizvi, Ajit Kumar Vimal, DSP of Kotwali Ranchi, Pawan Kumar, former SDPO of Bundu, Radha Prem Kishore, former traffic DSP of Ranchi, Arvind Kumar Singh, Vikas Ashish Kujur, Shravan Kumar, Shatrughan Rajak, Deepak Kumar, Pujya Prakash, Sahadev Saw, Rajkumar Mehta, Majrool Hoda, Ajit Kumar, Rajesh Kumar, Mukesh Kumar, Animesh Naithani, Roshan Gudiya, Pitambar Singh Kharwar.

Apart from this, Shriram Samad, Raj Kishore, Ajit Kumar Vimal, Amit Kumar, Jagdish Prasad, Omprakash, Manoj Kumar Mahato, Pran Ranjan Kumar, Mohammad Kaushar Ali, Pramod Kumar Keshari, Shashi Prakash, Vikas Chandra Srivastava, Ajay Kerketta, Nazir Akhtar, Sanjay Kumar, Sudarshan Kumar, Sunil Kumar Rajwar, Faiz Akram, Mojibur Rahman, Gyan Ranjan, Braj Kishore Bharti, Baidyanath Prasad, Shakeel Abid Shams, Neeraj Kumar, Ashok Kumar Singh, Chandan Kumar Vats, Ajay Kumar, Sumit Kumar and Surjit Kumar etc. Huh.

Such allegations on DSP

Case 1

Departmental proceedings are underway against the then Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Bundu, Pawan Kumar. He has also been found guilty in a CID investigation in the case of death of a minor Rupesh Swansi in Bundu. After this, departmental proceedings are going on against him on the orders of Police Headquarters. The Home Department has issued a notice to present his case.

Case 2

Former city DSP of Ranchi, Pran Ranjan, was accused of saving coal smugglers while holding the post of in-charge of Gola. After supervision of the senior officials, the police headquarters had recommended departmental action against Pran Ranjan from the Home Department. The case is subject to action.

Case 3

The investigation by the Crime Research Department (CID) of Jharkhand police confirms the former DSP of Baghmara, Majrool Hoda, on the night of 13 June 2016 in Dhanbad’s Topchanchi, shooting and injuring the driver of a leather-laden truck and planting a weapon near him in the case.

Has been done In this case, the CID has filed a charge sheet against five policemen including the then DSP Majrool Hoda, the then SHO. Departmental proceedings are underway against DSP Hoda on the recommendation of Police Headquarters.

Case 4

Deepak Kumar, former DSP of Ramgarh, was recommended departmental proceedings by the Police Headquarters after confirming allegations of illegal mining in addition to disproportionate assets. Departmental proceedings are underway against DSP in Home Department.

What is departmental action

There is a provision in the department to punish any public servant after confirmation of criminal cases including indiscipline, negligence. The Department gives sufficient time to such a public servant to present his case. This is called a departmental action.

If the department is satisfied with the party then it is okay, if not then the action is recommended by the minister of the concerned department.

The serious matters go to the court and the public servant concerned is punished only on the order of the court. In petty cases, the punishment of Minden, promotion for a period of time, stop salary, suspension, etc. are taken.

DSP Madhusudan Bari has been dismissed

Madhusudan Bari, formerly a DSP, has been dismissed from service through departmental action. DSP Madhusudan Bari was accused of taking the job by giving a certificate of Harijan being a second caste. Action was taken against him after confirmation in the investigation.
