Jammu And Shopian Became The Inspiration Of Everyone

Jammu and Shopian became the inspiration of everyone, more than 98 percent of people above the age-group of 45 have been vaccinated.

Despite the continuous shortage of vaccine in Jammu and Kashmir for the past few days, there are some districts which have become examples in the entire country.

So far, more than 90 per cent people have been vaccinated in the age group of more than 45 years. The winter capital Jammu and the Shopian district.

Sometimes Shopian is called the strongholds of terrorists, now the conditions are such where more than 98 percent of the people have been vaccinated.

Apart from the employees of the Health Department, the officials of both the districts are giving this credit.

According to data from the Department of Family Welfare, out of the twenty districts of Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu district is at the forefront of vaccination.

In this district, 99.34 per cent people in the age group of more than 45 years have got vaccinated. On the other hand, 97.47 per cent people have been vaccinated in Shopian district of south Kashmir.

Jammu district was also ahead in terms of vaccination of health workers and frontline workers. In Jammu, 82 percent of health workers and around 88 percent of frontline workers got vaccinated.

In Shopian, 81 percent health workers and 87 percent frontline workers got their vaccinations done. Shopian is at the forefront of vaccination in Kashmir.

This is the district which used to be a stronghold of terror. But now this district is exemplifying people towards health.

At the same time, there are two more districts of Jammu and Kashmir which are seen competing with Jammu and Shopian. These districts include Samba district of Jammu and Ganderbal district of Kashmir.

So far 93.37 percent of people in Samba district have been vaccinated in the age group of over 45 years. At the same time, 96.25 percent vaccination has been done in Ganderbal district.

Health workers and frontline workers underwent a good number of vaccinations in both these districts as well. In Samba district, 90 percent health workers and 90 percent frontline workers got vaccinated.

In Ganderbal district, 79 percent health workers and 89 percent frontline workers got vaccinated. In these districts, the second dose of the three classes is constantly coming.

The officials of these districts are also excited about getting large number of people vaccinated at their place.

While Deputy Commissioner of Jammu Anshul Garg has attributed the hard work of health workers, the Deputy Commissioner of Shopian district has also encouraged his health workers for vaccination.

Now these districts are busy in achieving the goal by organizing special camps
