Iran Has Prepared 2.4 Kg Of Highly Enriched Uranium: IAEA

Iran has prepared 2.4 kg of highly enriched uranium: IAEA. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) says Iran has developed 2.4 kg of enriched uranium to be used in weapons.

Tehran has kept it out of bounds for the international nuclear deal. IAEA Chief Rafael Grossi said work on enriching uranium to 60 percent has been going on since April.

For weeks, Grossi has been indicating that he is concerned about the direction of Iran’s nuclear program.

This news will cause trouble for Iran. The country had signed a historic agreement with the US and other countries in 2015.

Iran has prepared 2.4 kg of highly enriched uranium:  The country agreed to limit its nuclear stockpile in exchange for lifting sanctions.

Although Iran began to ignore various aspects of the deal after former US President Donald Trump pulled out of the deal in 2018, talks are now underway with the new US administration to restore the deal.

No deadlock in nuclear talks, but difficult issue: Iran.

Iran believes the roadblocks to reviving the 2015 nuclear deal with the world power have become complicated, but not insurmountable.

The spokesman denied on Tuesday that talks had stalled. Iran and six world powers have been engaged in a deal in Vienna since April.

Negotiators are looking for steps for Tehran and Washington to take on nuclear activity and sanctions, respectively, to restore the deal.

Netanyahu’s challenge to Naftali’s efforts to become PM rejected, Israel’s government will change soon.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has challenged the legal validity of attempts by his rival leader Naftali Bennett to form a government. However, President Reuven Rivlin has dismissed their objections.

Naftali, who once served as defense minister in the Netanyahu government, announced on Sunday that he would form an alliance with Middle Way leader Jair Lapid to form a new government.

Under the agreement, Naftali and Lapid will take turns as the prime ministers of the country. These leaders have until midnight on Wednesday to present the final agreement to the President.

Netanyahu’s Likud party said in a letter to President House and parliament that Jair Lapid was not authorized to hand over the post of prime minister to Naftali.

But President House dismissed the objection, saying the claim had no legal merit, as Naftali would take oath on a rotation basis under an alternate prime minister.
