Let us tell you that India batted first in the fourth T20 International match played at MCA Stadium in Pune on Friday and scored 181 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. In response, England’s team was all out for 166 runs in 19.4 overs. With this, India took a 3-1 lead in the current series. The fifth and last match of the series between the two teams will be played at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.

Controversy over concussion substitute

Let us remind you that the fourth T20 International match between India and England was a matter of great controversy over concussion substitutes. The ball hit Indian all-rounder Shivam Dubey’s helmet and after the innings ended, Harshit Rana came in as his substitute. Rana took three English batsmen as his victims, due to which the visiting team lost the match.

After the match, English captain Jos Buttler raised questions on concussion substitute and said that Rana was not a like-to-like replacement for Dubey. Buttler said that no advice was taken from us and we had no involvement in this. The English captain also said that he would ask some questions about this to match referee Javagal Srinath so that clarification could be obtained.
