Indian Super League: Northeast holds Bengaluru to a 2-2 draw. Luis Machado’s brilliant two goals allowed Northeast United FC to hold Bengaluru FC to a 2–2 draw.

In the seventh season match of the Hero Indian Super League (ISL) played at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda, Goa on Tuesday. .

Northeast has drawn a draw for the third time in five matches this season and has now moved up to second place in the table with nine points.

while Bengaluru has also had to draw for the third time in four matches. The team has moved up to fourth place with six points.

The first half between the two teams ended 1–1. The first goal of the match was scored by Northeastern United FC while Bengaluru scored an equalizer soon. Both teams scored 1–1 goals in the second half.

Luis Machado put the Highlands ahead with a brilliant goal in the fourth minute, but Juanan made it 1-1 in the 13th minute.

This time for the Highlanders, Portugal’s forward Machado emerged as a troublemaker and scored a superb goal from the center of the box in the 78th minute to give the Northeast a 2–2 score.

With the same score, both teams entered in the Injury time, where Bengaluru’s Patalu made a great move through a header near Dimas, which was saved.

After this, neither team could make a dent in each other’s defense and they were forced to distribute points.
