In this moment of Corona crisis in the country, the Indian Army has once again come to the rescue of the countrymen.

The army is engaged in a special campaign to build oxygen-filled cryogenic containers from abroad to place hospitals.

Giving information about this, Deputy Chief of Integrated Defense Staff (Medical) Lieutenant General Madhuri Kanitkar said that the Army has provided 14 railway coaches in the time of Corona crisis which are usually used for transport of oxygen tankers to transport military goods.

We have done some things. First, the three Armed Forces Headquarters at Logistic Point are acting as a coordinating force under the Integrated Defense Staff.

He said that nursing is imparted training to assist the army in the battlefield. They are trained soldiers, but are now helping doctors and paramedics.

He has also assisted 200 truck drivers, who are transporting oxygen tankers to the locations.

Indian Air Force took many flights.

The Indian Air Force has taken several flights internally and externally, bringing oxygen tankers from Singapore, Dubai.

After that in the last 2 days they have taken flights to move the empty tankers from one place to another, then they have been filled with oxygen.

He said that the armed forces are together in times of crisis. We call it Co-Jeet. Because we need to win this war on Covid.

We have to win this war under any circumstances. All the armed forces are supporting each other on this occasion.

Regarding the meetings of CDS and Army Chief with PM Modi, Lt Gen Madhuri Kanitkar said that armed forces have gathered during the crisis.

We assure the countrymen that the armed forces will provide all possible help in times of need. We are a part of the nation. We have got guidelines to work together and will do as much work as possible.

Indian Navy ship departs to bring oxygen from abroad.

Amidst the Corona crisis in the country, the Indian Navy has once again come to the rescue of the countrymen. The Navy has launched a special mission to bring oxygen-filled cryogenic containers from abroad.

At present, there is a huge shortage of oxygen in the country due to the huge increase in cases of corona infection. Officials said Indian Navy warships were initially carrying oxygen from Bahrain, Singapore and Thailand.

Two ships have reached Manama port in Bahrain.

He said that two ships INS Kolkata and INS Talwar have reached the Manama port in Bahrain. They will bring 40 metric tonnes of liquid oxygen to Mumbai.

Another vessel INS Jalashv has left for Bangkok while INS Airavat is going to Singapore under this mission.

Commander Vivek Madhawal, spokesperson of the Indian Navy, said that the Navy has launched the Samudra Setu II campaign to bring oxygen.

Last year, the Navy undertook a sea bridge operation under the Vande Bharat Bharat campaign to bring people stranded abroad due to the lockdown.
