India Won The Lord’s Test By 151 Runs: Ind vs Eng 2nd Test

India won the Lord’s Test by 151 runs, took a 1-0 lead in the series: Ind vs Eng 2nd Test.

The second match of the five-match Test series was played between hosts England and India at the historic ground of Lord’s.

In this match, the Indian team scored 298 for 8 in the second innings on the basis of half-century innings of Shami and Rahane and declared the innings, taking a lead of 271 runs.

Now India set a target of 272 runs for England to win. The entire team of England was bundled out for 120 runs in the second innings. India won the series by 151 runs to take a 1-0 lead.

In the second Test, India scored 364 runs in the first innings with KL Rahul’s century, while England took a 27-run lead by scoring 391 runs on the back of their captain Joe Root’s unbeaten 180.

India then took a 271-run lead over England on the back of Rahane’s 61 and Shami’s 56. Shami, facing 70 balls, scored his second half-century against England in Tests.

Bumrah gave India the first breakthrough in the second innings and he dismissed Rory Burns without opening an account.

On the other hand, India’s second success was Mohd. Shami dismisses Sibley for zero. Ishant Sharma was dismissed leg before by Haseeb Hameed for 9 runs.

The fourth blow to England was given by Ishant Sharma and he dismissed Bairstow lbw for 2 runs. Bumrah gave England the fifth blow by dismissing captain Joe Root for 33 runs.

Siraj gave a big blow to England by taking two consecutive wickets in both balls.

He first got Moeen Ali caught by Kohli for 13 runs and then on the very next ball, Sam Curran was sent to the pavilion by dismissing Pant behind the wicket for zero.

India’s second innings, Rahane and Shami hit half-centuries

KL Rahul, who scored a century for the team in the first innings, was run by Mark Wood for just 5 runs. Jos Buttler caught the catch of KL Rahul.

The second wicket fell as India’s Rohit Sharma, who scored 21 runs in 36 balls, was caught by Moeen Ali off Mark Wood.

Indian captain Virat Kohli was disappointed in the second innings and was caught by Jos Buttler off Sam Curran for just 20 runs.

Pujara played a very patient inning and scored 45 runs off 206 balls. He was caught out by Joe Root by Markwood.

Ajinkya Rahane played brilliant innings, but Moeen Ali got him out at the hands of Jos Buttler for 61, while Jadeja was clean bowled by Moeen Ali after scoring three runs.

Ollie Robinson got Rishabh Pant caught by Jos Buttler for 22 runs. Ishant was also made his victim by Oli and got out leg before for 16 runs.

Shami remained unbeaten on 56 while Bumrah played an unbeaten knock of 34 runs. After this India declared the innings.

England’s first innings, Joe Root spoiled India’s game with his century

The first blow to the England team came from Indian fast bowler Mohd. Siraj gave. Siraj got Sibli caught by KL Rahul on the score of 11 runs.

Siraj dismissed Haseeb Hameed for zero and gave India the second breakthrough. Siraj dismissed Haseeb’s leg before for zero.

England got the third blow in the form of Rory Burns and he missed out on a run to complete his half-century.

Ishant got Sam Karan caught at the hands of Rohit for zero and he became his third victim. Siraj got Ollie Robinson’s leg before 6 runs.

Joe Root returned to the pavilion after scoring 180 not out. In the first innings, Mr. Siraj took four, Ishant Sharma three while Shami took two wickets.

In the first innings of the second test match for Team India, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul got off to a great start and there was a strong partnership of 126 runs for the first wicket between the two.

This partnership was broken by James Anderson bowling Rohit Sharma for 83 runs.

Cheteshwar Pujara’s form is a constant concern for the team and even in the first innings of this Test, his bat did not get any runs.

He scored 9 runs and Anderson made him his second victim and got him caught by Bairstow.

Virat Kohli put the team in a strong position with a good 117-run partnership with Rahul for the third wicket in this match, but he was caught by Root on the ball of Ollie Robinson after scoring 42 runs.
