Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that India has set a record by administering 88 lakh corona vaccines in a day.

Over 88.13 lakh vaccine doses have been administered during the last 24 hours, which is the highest ever figure in a single day.

At the same time, 55.47 crore vaccine doses have been given so far under the nationwide vaccination campaign.

Congratulating the countrymen on his Twitter handle, the Health Minister said, “India has achieved the highest single-day record by administering 88 lakh COVID-19 vaccine doses in a day.”

In the last 24 hours, 25,166 thousand new cases have been reported in India, which is the lowest ever in 154 days.

At the same time, the rate of total active cases is 1.15%. Let us tell you that this rate is the lowest after March 2020.

India’s active caseload is currently 3 lakh, 69 thousand, 846 (3,69,846), which is the lowest caseload in 146 days.

It is the result of the strategy made against the epidemic of the central government that the cases are continuously decreasing.

India aims to introduce the corona vaccine to all people above 18 years of age by December 2021. If this is the speed of the corona vaccine, then surely this goal will be achieved.

Talking about the people who have recovered from the infection in the country, the recovery rate is currently 97.51%, the highest since March 2, 2020.

So far, a total of 3 crores, 17 lakh, 48 thousand 754 (3,14,48,754) people have been cured of Covid-19 infection. At the same time, 36,830 patients have been cured during the last 24 hours.

The weekly positivity rate currently stands at 1.98%, down from 3% for the last 53 days. Talking about the daily positivity rate, it is 1.61 percent.
