Imran Khan is facing heavy criticism for talks with TTP, the opposition is attacking PM, government’s difficulty increased.
Pakistan’s government’s talks with the terrorist organization TTP for an agreement are overshadowing PM Imran Khan.
The opposition is constantly engaged in increasing the difficulties of the government regarding this issue. The government is constantly criticizing the PM on this issue.
On Wednesday, Imran Khan was also strongly reprimanded by the Supreme Court on the same issue.
The court said that the government was talking to the terrorists who had brutally killed 147 people at the Army Public School in Peshawar on 16 December 2014.
Among the dead were 132 schoolchildren. The court wanted to know from the government that by doing so what kind of signal it was trying to give to the families of the children killed in this incident.
Now the same issue has been raised by the opposition in the Senate as well.
According to the local media report, Raza Rabbani, leader of the Pakistan People’s Party and former chairman of the Senate, said that the government has got the approval of the Parliament for the talks with the terrorist organization with which the government is negotiating for a deal.
He made a scathing attack on the Imran government, if the government had to take a similar decision unilaterally, then it is better to lock the parliament.
He said that no decision on issues related to national security can be taken without taking the Senate into confidence and without talks in Parliament.
Let us inform that on Wednesday itself, Pakistan’s Information and Broadcasting Minister Fawad Chaudhry had said that the government is very close to a deal with the TTP.
He also said that TTP has agreed to a ceasefire. It is worth noting that TTP has been present in Pakistan since 2007. TTP has so far carried out many major attacks in Pakistan.
Six terrorists of the same organization carried out the attack on the Army School in Peshawar. This attack was strongly condemned all over the world.
Let us tell you that on Tuesday, the government had called a meeting of all the parties on the issue related to national security.
In this meeting, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa had briefed all the parties on this issue. But PM Imran Khan himself was not present in this important meeting.
The opposition created a lot of hues and cries about this. Not only this, but senior journalists of Pakistan also strongly criticized Imran Khan’s attitude, calling him wrong.
The opposition is also continuously raising the issue of Imran Khan’s absence.
