Important conference of military commanders, Defense Minister will address today.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will address the four-day military commanders conference held in Delhi today. A four-day important conference of military commanders between China and Tanatani on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) began on Monday.

On the first day, many issues related to human resource management were discussed in the army. At the same time, today, a comprehensive review of the preparations of the army will be done at Eastern Ladakh and other sensitive points of LAC.

The Military Commander Conference (ACC) is the highest level conference held twice a year. All commanders, principal staff officers and other senior officers of military headquarters are participating in it.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat, Navy Chief Admiral Karambir Singh, and Air Force Chief RKS Bhadauria will address the conference.

During the conference, military commanders will review security challenges in eastern Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir. During this time, the issues raised by the Commander-in-Chief of Andaman and Nicobar Command will also be discussed.

It is the only joint command of the three armies in the country. Various recommendations made by various internal committees regarding reforms can also be finalized. At the same time, emphasis will also be placed on increasing the operational capacity of the army.

Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat and Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Narwane paid tributes at the National War Memorial on Infantry Day on Tuesday.

Infantry Day is seen as a commemoration of the first military event of independent India, when the Indian Army made its first attack on Indian soil in the Kashmir Valley on 27 October 1947.

This victory was accomplished by personnel of the 1st Battalion of the Sikh Regiment.
