Hyderabadi Youth Shot In US, Family Pleads For Help From GOI

Hyderabadi youth shot in the US, family pleads for help from the Indian government. There has been a case of shooting an Indian in Chicago, US by some anti-social element.

The name of this Hyderabadi youth is being referred to as Mohammad Mujibuddin. The family of this man, who belongs to Hyderabad, has sought help from the Government of India for assistance.

The family requested the government to ensure proper medical help for him and help the family to visit him.

Admitted to University of Chicago Hospital

According to the report, the Indian was shot by some anti-social element in the 11300 block of S. Michigan Avenue in the United States around 4:30 p.m.

The victim’s mother claimed that she was admitted to the University of Chicago Hospital even in critical condition.

The victim’s mother sought help from India

Speaking to the news agency, Shanaz Taiyaba, the mother of the victim Mohammed Mujibuddin, requested the Indian government to provide him with the best medical aid.

She said that his son has been working in Chicago for the last five years and that he was recently shot by two men.

She said that her son was soon admitted to a hospital in Chicago for treatment. She said, ‘I request the Government of India to provide him with the best medical aid and help in our possible way’.

According to the report, Mujibuddin has been working in Chicago for the last five years. His wife’s name is Afroz Kausar. The victim also has four children.

His wife lives in Hyderabad with children and his mother-in-law.

Spokesperson Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT) Amjad Ullah Khan said that he has requested Foreign Minister S Jaishankar to provide the best medical assistance to Mujimuddin from the Indian Embassy in Washington DC and the Indian Consulate in Chicago.
