HM Amit Shah said, J&K will get full statehood in due time. Taking a dig at the opposition parties, Home Minister Amit Shah said, Jammu and Kashmir will get full statehood in due time.

Union HM Amit Shah on Saturday assured the Lok Sabha that Jammu and Kashmir will be given full state status when the time comes.

He said that the development of Jammu and Kashmir is the top priority of the Modi government. He was responding to the discussion on the Jammu Kashmir Reorganization (Amendment) Bill-2021 in the lower house of Parliament.

HM Amit Shah said- Bill has no relation with state status

Amit Shah clarified that this bill has no relation with the status of the state. Nowhere is it written that Jammu and Kashmir will not get the status of the state.

The bill has a provision to merge the officers of Jammu and Kashmir cadre of All India Service Officers in Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Union Territory of Mizoram (AGMUT). The Lok Sabha passed it by voice.

This bill has already been passed in Rajya Sabha.

Shah said- Congress and other parties continued the temporary system in the constitution for 70 years

The Union Home Minister slammed the Congress and other opposition parties for supporting Article 370. He said that this was a temporary arrangement in the Constitution, but Congress and other parties continued it for 70 years.

When reminded of the promise made by Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary while removing Article 370, Shah said, “I will surely answer this, but I want to ask that it has been only 17 months since Article 370 was removed.

What did you do for 70 years? Have you brought your account. Shah said- people who have ruled the country for generations did not give their account.

Taking a nip, Shah said that those who had the opportunity to rule the country for generations, look into their Gireban. Whether they deserve to ask us for 17 months account or not.

The Home Minister said, ‘I want to tell this House once again that they understand the situation in Jammu and Kashmir. Do not make any statement to do politics that misleads the public. ‘

Shah said- Development of Jammu and Kashmir remained a high priority of the NDA government

Shah dismissed the opposition’s allegations and said that after the NDA took power at the Center in 2014, the development of Jammu and Kashmir has remained a top priority.

Now the elected representatives of the people will rule, not the king and queen. Raja Rani, who practiced dynastic politics, will no longer rule Jammu and Kashmir.

Jammu and Kashmir will now be ruled by elected representatives of the people here.

After the removal of Article 370, 51 percent of people have voted here in the election of Panchayat in this union territory. This has led to the decentralization of governance.

Shah responded to Owaisi and said – It is the Modi government that makes decisions for the country.

AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi, while participating in the debate, alleged that the 2G to 4G internet service was implemented under pressure from foreigners.

Shah responded by saying, “He does not know that it was not the UPA government, which he supported.” It is Narendra Modi’s government that makes decisions for the country.

Shah said that Owaisi officers also divide into Hindu Muslims and call themselves secular.

Nobody’s land will be shattered

Assuring the people of Jammu and Kashmir, he said that no person will get any land. The government has sufficient land for development works.

25 thousand jobs till next year

Shah said that by the year 2022, 25 thousand additional government jobs will be created in Jammu and Kashmir.

Two AIIMS have become operational in this area. The Kashmir Valley will be connected by rail within the next two years.
