Hindu Mahasabha Leader Joins Congress In MP. Hindu Mahasabha demands from Sonia Gandhi to change Congress name to ‘Godseist Congress’

Politics in Madhya Pradesh has intensified with leader Babulal Chaurasia joining the Congress as a councilor from Hindu Mahasabha.

In this regard, Dr. Jayveer Bhardwaj, the National Vice President of the Hindu Mahasabha (HIMSS), has demanded the Congress Interim President Sonia Gandhi to change the name of his party to ‘Godseist Congress’.

For this, the Gwalior unit of the Hindu Mahasabha will take out a ‘Godse Yatra’ from the city to the national capital.

Bhardwaj said that the Godse Yatra would begin on 14 March. By breaking one of our leaders (Babulal Chaurasia), the Congress has proved that they welcome the ‘Godseist’ ideology and want to form a ‘Godseist Congress’.

We will take a trip to broadcast this message. We will request Sonia Gandhi to change the name of the party. For this, we have written a letter to Sonia Gandhi and Kamal Nath asking them to name the Congress as ‘Godseist Congress’.

He said that Godse killed Mahatma Gandhi in retaliation for the partition in which 10 lakh Hindus were killed and about 2 lakh Hindus were displaced.

Jayveer Bhardwaj also alleged that Congress has bought Chaurasia as it is on the verge of ending. The Hindu Mahasabha had issued a show-cause notice to Chaurasia and later expelled him.

Hisam says that since 2014, Mahasabha councilor Chaurasia has been promoting the door-to-door ideology of Nathuram Godse.

By including them in the Congress, the Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee has expressed faith in Godse.

Significantly, in the year 2017, former Gwalior councilor Babulal Chaurasia came into the limelight when he participated in the puja program to install the idol of Nathuram Godse.

He joined the Congress on 24 February 2021 in the presence of former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath.

The Congress has been a vocal critic of the Hindu Mahasabha for portraying Mahatma Gandhi’s killer Nathuram Godse as a ‘nationalist’ and a ‘patriot’.
