Himachal Pradesh Congress Leader Arrested On Sedition Charges

Himachal Pradesh Congress leader captured on sedition charges. Bharti, a previous chief parliamentary secretary (CPS), was called to the police headquarters for addressing, Sharma stated, including that he was tested for three days from June 24 to 26 on different perspectives identifying with the case.

Former Congress MLA Neeraj Bharti was captured on Friday for purportedly posting “against national and frightful materials” on the online networking with respect to the Sino-India stalemate in Ladakh’s Galwan valley, Himachal Pradesh police representative Khushhal Sharma said.

The previous MLA from Jawali in Kangra region was captured regarding an FIR enlisted against him under IPC segments 124A (rebellion), 153A (advancing ill will between various gatherings), 504 (deliberate affront with the goal to incite penetrate of the harmony) and 505 (articulations conducing to open naughtiness) at the Wrongdoing Branch police headquarters, CID Shimla on June 20, he included.

Bharti, a previous Chief parliamentary secretary (CPS), was gathered to the police headquarters for addressing, Sharma stated, including that he was tested for three days from June 24 to 26 on different viewpoints identifying with the case.

Accordingly, he was captured for the situation for examination purposes and will be delivered before the boss legal justice’s (CMJ) court on Saturday, the police representative said.

The FIR was held up based on an objection from attorney Narendra Guleria.

In his protest to the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) of the state police, Guleria claimed that messages posted by Bharti via web-based networking media were an endeavor to spread scorn and insolence the administration.

Two years back, the Congress head was reserved for supposedly offering unfavorable comments on Facebook against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Pratibha Bali, a police official in Shimla said.
