High-level meeting of Home Minister Amit Shah regarding Jammu and Kashmir, Chiefs of security agencies including LG Sinha attended.

A high-level meeting on internal security and Jammu and Kashmir has started in the Ministry of Home Affairs on Thursday.

In this meeting chaired by Home Minister Amit Shah, NSA Ajit Doval, Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla, Army Chief Manoj Pandey, Jammu and Kashmir LG Manoj Sinha along with Research and Analysis Wing Chief Samant Goel, CRPF K DD Kuldeep Singh attended the meeting.

A high-level meeting of Home Minister Amit Shah: Sources said that in this, the development works and security arrangements of Jammu and Kashmir will be discussed.

The recent targeted killing of Kashmiri Pandits and non-Kashmiri people will also be discussed in this meeting.

Jammu and Kashmir: Earthquake tremors 9 times in 46 hours, no loss of life and property

Strong tremors of earthquake were felt in Jammu and Kashmir late on Wednesday night.

According to the report, earthquake tremors were felt twice at an interval of 48 minutes, 62 km from Katra. Its intensity was 3.2 on the Richter scale.

Within the last two days, a total of 9 earthquake tremors have been felt in the state. However, there was no damage due to low intensity.

According to the report of the news agency, the tremors of the first earthquake were felt at 11.04 pm on Wednesday night. After 48 minutes, the second tremor was felt at 11:52 minutes.

The intensity of the first was 4.1 on the Richter scale, while the intensity of the second tremor was recorded at 3.2. The epicenter of the earthquake was 5 km below the ground.

At the same time, on Tuesday, 6 earthquake tremors were felt in the state.

In which the epicenter of three tremors was in Udhampur, three in Doda district and the epicenter of one tremor was in Kishtwar district.

The magnitude of the earthquake was measured from 2.6 to 3.9 on the Richter scale.

In the last 3 days, earthquake tremors have been felt 9 times in Doda district Kishtwar district of Jammu province, and Katra, the base camp of Mata Vaishno Devi.

Mild tremors were felt only in Katra three times. Mild tremors of the earthquake have been felt six times in Doda and Kishtwar in the last 3 days.

Today again mild tremors of the earthquake have been felt in Doda and Kishtwar, so in the last 3 days, a total of 10 earthquake tremors have been felt in Jammu province so far.
