HDFC Ltd Q3 Results: The company’s net profit in the third quarter was Rs 5,177 crore.

HDFC Ltd reported on Tuesday that its consolidated net profit after tax stood at Rs 5,177 crore in the third quarter of FY 2020-21. The company said that it stood at Rs 3,835 crore in the year-ago period.

HDFC Limited has given this information to the stock market on Tuesday. The company said that its net profit in the third quarter on a standalone basis was Rs 2,926 crore. It was Rs 8,372 crore in the year-ago period.

The company said that the profit after tax during the 9-month period till December 31, 2020, in the current financial year was Rs 8,847 crore. It was Rs 15,537.12 crore in the same period a year ago.

The company said that these figures of profit could not be compared to the same period last year due to the lockdown implemented due to the coronavirus epidemic.

The company further stated that the merger of Bandhan Bank and Gruh Finance is effective from 17 October 2019. HDFC said, “There has been strong growth in individual business during the quarter ended December 31, 2020.

Within 9 months between April 1, 2020, and December 31, 2020, the impact of the lockdown imposed by the epidemic has been in effect, so the current and previous year’s data cannot be directly compared.

‘The stock of HDFC Ltd. closed at 2657.65 on Tuesday on the Bombay Stock Exchange with a gain of 2.91 percent or Rs 75.10.
