HC seeks status report from Delhi government and Delhi Police: Delhi Girl Assault & Murder Case.

In the case of rape and murder of a 9-year-old girl in West Delhi’s Cantt area, the Delhi High Court on Tuesday heard the petition of the victim’s parents.

During this, the High Court has sought a status report from the Delhi Government and Delhi Police.

In this, there has been a demand for SIT investigation and judicial inquiry into the alleged lapses in administrative action.

Advocate Jitendra Kumar, appearing for the petitioner, submitted that his client belongs to the poor section of society and is completely illiterate.

In the petition, he has said that it has come to the notice of the petitioners that after raping their deceased daughter, the accused killed her.

Presenting these facts, the girl’s parents have said that they will get justice only if the case is investigated by the SIT and adequate protection is given to them.

Victim’s family charges

Their 9-year-old girl was raped and murdered by four accused inside a crematorium in Purani Nangal village near Delhi Cantt.

In order to destroy the evidence, the accused threw the victim’s daughter’s body in the fire of the crematorium.

When the mother of the deceased reached the crematorium in search of her daughter, she was told by the accused that her daughter died due to electrocution.

The dead girl had injuries on her hands and her nose was bleeding.

The accused did not allow to touch the body of the deceased.

After hearing the cries of the petitioners, the crowd gathered there, poured water in the pyre of the deceased, and deposited some of the remains of the deceased.

In the police station, the police also pressurized the girl’s parents to compromise.
