Rekha Sharma has not only given a statement about women, but has also demanded to stop the screening of the film. Rekha tweeted on Friday and wrote, ‘The real Gunjan Saxena should come forward and clarify whether the gender discrimination shown in the film is correct? Being from an army background, I can never imagine the defense officers being treated like goons. Whether it is an officer or not, women have always been respected in the force.

At the same time, in another tweet, Rekha Sharma shared a screenshot, in which Gunjan Saxena’s statement that he was treated properly. To this, Rekha wrote, ‘If so, then the film maker should apologize and stop the screening. Why did it show itself, which is calling its own force as bad, when it is not true?

Let me tell you that before the release of Netflix film Gunjan Saxena, the Air Force raised objections to the censor board. The Air Force says that the film depicts the army negatively. While Dharma Productions promised before release that it would take care of the Sena honor. Significantly, this film is directed by Sharan Sharma.
