Due to the heavy rains for the past several days, there is a flood situation in many districts of Gujarat. The common man is facing a lot of problems. 61 people have died due to floods.

The state government at its level has issued relief and rescue operations regarding the floods.

Meanwhile, PM Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have spoken to the Chief Minister of Gujarat.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Monday to take stock of the flood situation in the state.

PM Modi has assured full cooperation from the Center to ease the suffering of the people affected by the floods in Gujarat.

Gujarat Flood: Amit Shah also took stock of the flood situation.

After talking to the CM, Amit Shah wrote in his tweet, ‘I have spoken to Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel about flood-like situations in different parts of the state due to heavy rains.

I assured all possible help from the Modi government. Gujarat administration, SDRF, and NDRF are working to provide immediate assistance to the affected people.

Many villages have been cut off due to floods following heavy rains in Gujarat. Helicopters have been deployed to rescue people trapped in the flood waters.

So far 61 people have died due to the floods. NDRF team is carrying out a rescue operation. More than two thousand people have been evacuated safely.

Maharashtra Floods: Maharashtra CM Shinde, and Deputy CM Fadnavis visit Gadchiroli to review the floods.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis inspected the flood situation on the Wainganga river bridge in Armori taluka of the Gadchiroli district.

DM Sanjay Meena and Superintendent of Police Ankit Goyal informed about the water level and measures.

Deputy CM Fadnavis tweeted, ‘We along with CM Eknath Shinde have left Mumbai for a tour of Gadchiroli district to review the flood situation.
