Government of India has provided 24 Crore Vaccine doses to States/UTs : Corona Vaccine Update.
The central government told how much vaccine dose has been provided to the states for free so far .The Union Health Ministry has released a new figure regarding the corona vaccine.
According to the ministry, the Government of India has so far provided more than 24 crore vaccine doses (24,60,80,900) to the states/UTs through free and direct state procurement categories.
Along with this, a total of 22,96,95,199 doses have been given including the wasted dose. Not only this, the ministry said that at present, at least 1.63 crore (1,63,85,701) vaccines are available with the states / union territories.
The Union Health Ministry said that out of the total doses given on Saturday, 16,19,504 beneficiaries in the age group of 18-44 were given the first dose while 41,058 were given the second dose.
On the other hand, on the previous day, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri had said that the people of the state should be given free corona vaccine in Punjab regarding the sale of corona vaccine at a higher price.
However, the state vaccine has been sold at higher prices.
Puri said that in Punjab, the corona vaccine Covidshield was bought for Rs 309, which has been sold for Rs 1,560. He said that the Punjab government official and in-charge of Covid vaccination has disclosed some data of May 29 and informed that 4.29 lakh doses of Covidshield vaccines were purchased for Rs 13.25 crore.
Its average amount is Rs 309, while 1,14,190 doses of Covaxin vaccines were purchased for an average of Rs 4.70 crore. The cost of a vaccine of Covaxin is Rs 412. The minister had said that profiteering was taking place in the state.

So far, a total of 2 crore 69 lakh 84 thousand 781 people have been cured of corona in the country.
Talking about the active cases of corona in the country, 77,449 active cases have decreased in the last 24 hours. At present, there are 14,77,799 active cases in the country.
