There will be a fight for Oscar Nominations.

Both films have entered the contention list of Oscars under the Best International Feature Film category and will now fight for nominations in this category.

If these films also make it to the list of nominations, then they will compete for the Oscar Awards.

RRR is also on the contention list, but it has been shortlisted in the Best Original Song category. The nominations for the Oscar Awards will be announced on January 24.
