In the previous session, it had closed at Rs 50,683 per 10 grams. In this way, an increase of Rs 276 per ten grams was recorded in the price of gold this week.

Silver increased by Rs 1,739 this week

Now let’s talk about silver prices in the domestic market. The silver futures price of December futures closed at Rs 62,884 per kg on the last trading day of this week on Friday on MCX with a strong jump of Rs 2,392.

The silver price opened at Rs 60,737 per kg on MCX on Monday, October 5, the first trading day of the week. In the previous session, it had closed at Rs 61,145 per kg. In this way, an increase of Rs 1,739 per kg has been registered in the price of this silver.

Gold far away from previous high of Rs 5,198

Gold may have seen an increase in prices this week, but it is still far from its previous high. The previous high level of the gold price was seen on 6 August 2020. In this session, December futures gold had closed at Rs 56,015 per ten grams. If we compare it with the current price, gold breaks Rs 5,198 per ten grams away from its high level.

Silver recovers Rs 15,372 from previous high

Talking about the price of silver, its previous high was seen on 10 August 2020. In this session, the silver price of December futures closed at Rs 78,256 per kg. Comparing this price with the current price, this silver is down by Rs 15,372 per kg.

Gold price internationally

On the last day of the week, gold prices recorded a huge rise internationally. According to Bloomberg, the December futures of gold on the last trading day of the week closed at $ 1,926.20 an ounce, up 1.64 percent or $ 31.10 on the Comex. Also, the global spot price of gold was up 1.93 percent or $ 36.58 to close at $ 1930.40 an ounce.

Silver price internationally

Internationally, silver prices also gained on the last day of the week. According to Bloomberg, the global futures silver prices for December futures closed at $ 25.11 an ounce, up 5.16 percent or $ 1.23 on the last trading day on Comex.

At the same time, the global spot price of silver was up 5.52 percent, or $ 1.32, to close at $ 25.15 an ounce.
