Four people including FCI’s divisional manager, arrested for taking bribe, CBI caught red-handed.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested four officials and employees of the Food Corporation of India (FCI) office in Bhopal for demanding bribes for payment of security agency bills.

CBI has caught them red-handed taking a lakh rupees. The security agency is headquartered in Gurugram. The agency complained to the CBI about non-payment of bills due to non-payment of bribe amount.

According to the information, Gurugram-based security agency Captain Kapoor & Sons received a tender for the deployment of guards in January this year at Rs 11 lakh 30 thousand per month.

FCI officials were demanding a 10 percent commission from the agency as a bribe per month. When these were not bribed, the payment of bills was stopped.

While senior officials of the agency discussed settling the matter, FCI officials demanded Rs 50,000 for the payment of old bills and Rs 70,000 for the payment of new bills.

On Thursday, the agency complained to the CBI in this regard. The manager (account) was summoned to the Mata Mandir area of ​​Bhopal to collect Rs 1 lakh on Friday evening to catch the accused red-handed.

FCI divisional manager Harsh Inayaka, manager (account) Arun Srivastava, manager (security) Mohan Parate, and clerk Kishore Meena were arrested after receiving the bribe amount.

Till late night, investigations were going on at the locations of the accused.

Sources said that Arun Srivastava came from a car to collect the amount of bribe. When he was caught, he said that I have no part in it. Manager (Security) Mohan Parade is also involved.

The CBI team summoned Parathe to take a bribe from Srivastava’s phone. When Parathe too got caught in the CBI clutches, he said that it also included Divisional Manager Harsh Inayaka.

When Tanaka was informed about the bribe amount from his phone, Inayaka asked him to come to the office with the amount. The CBI team was also with them.

Srivastava and Parathe gave Inayaka a bribe amount, while Inayaka gave the amount to clerk Kishore Meena and asked him to keep it safe.

On the confirmation of their involvement, they were arrested by the CBI. CBI has also recovered cash from the storeroom where Meena had gone to keep the amount of bribe.
