Four Coaches Of Cement-laden Goods Train Derailed In Kerala
Four coaches of a cement-laden goods train derailed in Kerala, no one was injured, 11 trains were canceled.
Four coaches of a goods train derailed at Aluva station in Kerala’s Ernakulam district. Many trains have been canceled after the goods train accident.
It is being told that the goods train was going towards Kollam. This accident happened last night around 10:30. There is no news of any injury in this accident.
Railway officials said that cement was being brought from Andhra Pradesh in the goods train. Railway Divisional Manager R Mukund said that efforts are being made to restore the services at the earliest.
An investigation will be conducted to find out the exact cause of the accident.
He further said that on entering the third platform of Aluva station at 10.30 last night, the second, third, fourth, and fifth bogies derailed.
After the accident, some trains were stuck at different stations for hours, disrupting services.
He said that four up trains and two down trains were affected due to the incident. However, traffic on one track was restored at 2.15 am.

Officials said that 11 trains have been canceled. These include Guruvayur-Thiruvananthapuram Express, Ernakulam-Kannur Express, Kottayam-Neelambur Express, Nilambur-Kottayam Express.

On Thursday, 28,515 new cases of corona have been reported in Tamil Nadu. During this 53 patients have died. There are 2,13,534 active cases of corona in the state.
In Andhra Pradesh, 13,374 new cases of the corona were reported in the last 24 hours. The active cases of corona in the state are 1,09,493.
