Five New Camps And 7 Police Stations Will Open In Dantewada

Five new camps and seven police stations will open in Dantewada to crack down on Naxalites, intensify the exercise to make Naxal-free.

To make Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh Naxal-free, five new camps and seven police stations will be opened. The scope of Naxalism from the district is continuously shrinking.

The force has reached those areas which were infamous as Naxalgarh and were considered very inaccessible and unreachable.

Now only a few areas of the district are left where the force has not reached. Preparations are underway to reach such areas and connect them with the mainstream of development.

Under this scheme, Chhattisgarh Armed Forces (CAF) personnel will be deployed in the new camps.

In the areas where the camps are being opened, there is a severe lack of basic facilities like roads, electricity, water, schools, hospitals, ration shops.

When the camps open, roads will start reaching the villages and a supply chain will be formed. This will drive the Naxalites away from the area.

The security forces have had a lot of success in the last one year. Dantewada Superintendent of Police (SP) Dr. Abhishek Pallav got a register prepared, in which the names of about fifteen hundred Naxalites are there.

The police is going to his house and explaining to his relatives. It has had a wide impact. So far 368 Naxalites have surrendered.

New camps will open here.

New camps of CAF will be opened at Nahari, Rewali, Gonderas, Gumiyapal, Badepalli. After the monsoon, the soldiers will be deployed in these villages.

Due to the absence of camp, the Naxalites run arbitrarily in these areas and the villagers get little benefit of government schemes. Now the main roads of Naxalites will be guarded by the force.
