First wholly woman-owned FLO Industrial Park opened in Hyderabad: A new initiative in India.
A new initiative has been started in India. The country’s first fully female-owned FLO Industrial Park was opened on 8 March on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
Launched by FICCI Women’s Organization (FLO), in partnership with the Government of Telangana, the park has 25 women units, representing 16 diverse green category industries, owned by women.

FLO Industrial Park of 50 acres in Hyderabad was established with an investment of Rs.250 crores, it is the flagship project of the country.
Today it has been launched for the first time in India, with the participation of chapter members and national members of FLOs at the national level.

Minister KT Rama Rao said during the inauguration.
Inaugurating the park on the occasion of International Women’s Day on Tuesday, Industries and IT Minister KT Rama Rao spoke of launching many such projects and opportunities.
He said that the government will give additional land parcels provided women entrepreneurs think big and start focusing on opportunities in future sectors such as defense, aerospace, food processing, and emerging technologies.
On the occasion of Women’s Day, he has promised 100 acres of land for the expansion of FLO women. Along with this, he talked about providing an additional 10 percent subsidy for women entrepreneurs.
Jyotsna Angara, National Governing Body Member, FLO, said, “We launched the first FLO Industrial Park, which is 100% owned and operated by women, spread over 50 acres of land with 25 green projects.
