Fear of terrorist attack in Rajouri and Poonch, Army and Police on high alert: Jammu and Kashmir.

A high alert has been declared in Kashmir’s Rajouri and Poonch due to the possibility of a terrorist attack. Terrorists can attack army camps, police stations, or any religious place.

According to sources, terrorists had escaped from the encounter that started three days ago in Rajouri, which is being told 3-4 terrorists in number.

However, two of his associates were killed during the fidayeen attack. In this attack, 4 soldiers of the army were martyred.

This attack took place on 11 August 22 in the army camp.

Sources have told that a team of terrorists from across the border has entered Rajouri-Poonch. There are about 6 terrorists in this and all of them are associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba.

One of these terrorists named Umar has been killed. Sources said that these terrorists have been sent from the similar launching pad of PoK.

It is believed that there are three groups of two terrorists. Out of this, two terrorists have been killed and the remaining four terrorists are still hiding somewhere in Rajouri, who can attack anytime.

Sources say that the terrorists of Lashkar-e-Taiba, who came from PoK, can attack anytime. In such a situation, the police and army are on high alert in Poonch and Rajouri sectors.

The people coming and going are being monitored. Search operations are being conducted at some places.

Earlier on May 8, a terrorist was gunned down by the Army along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Lam area of ​​Rajouri district while foiling an infiltration bid.

There were several blasts in the Rajouri district in April and May.

The police had busted two Lashkar modules that were involved in carrying out terrorist activities and transporting weapons from Pakistan to the Kashmir Valley by drones.

They had arrested five members of two terror modules.
