Farmers to protest at Jantar Mantar against Farm laws: 200 farmers left for Jantar Mantar from Singhu border, Rakesh Tikait’s statement regarding security.

Delhi Police has got permission to protest at Jantar Mantar from Thursday to August 9. The demonstration of 200 farmers will start at 11 am.

It is being told that on the instructions of Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal, there was an agreement between the Delhi Police and the farmer protesters.

With permission from Delhi Police, 200 protesters will be able to protest at Jantar Mantar daily from 11 am to 5 pm till August 9.

It is being told that buses of 200 farmers going to Jantar Mantar will be stopped at the Singhu border. Here the protesters sitting in the buses and their Aadhar cards will be checked.

The police will also see that more than 200 protesters are not sitting in the buses. A large number of police and security forces personnel have been deployed in this regard.

Off duty police personnel will also be posted at Jantar Mantar

Delhi Police has gone on alert after the protesters got permission to protest at Jantar Mantar to protest against the agrarian reform laws.

On Wednesday late evening, an order was issued from the Police Headquarters saying that the police personnel who are on duty will also have to be posted in uniform at Jantar Mantar at 8 am on Thursday.

Apart from this, the police personnel who are in their homes in Delhi and can reach Jantar Mantar in an hour. They can be called any Jantar Mantar.

It has been said in the order that all the police personnel will be ready to stop the anti-riot activities of all the units. For this, police will be on duty with tear gas shells, sticks, etc.

It has been told that under the supervision of the Delhi Police, the protesters will reach Jantar Mantar for a demonstration by bus.

They will come to Delhi through buses daily from the Singhu border of Delhi-Haryana. Apart from this, 6 farmer leaders will be able to reach separately in one SUV.

After the stipulated period, all the protesters will be sent to the Delhi border. At the same time, 7 nearby metro stations can also be closed if needed.

Security arrangements have been made in this way.

Tight security arrangements have been made by the Delhi Police in view of the Parliament gherao since Thursday.

Delhi Police and Paramilitary are deployed in large numbers by doing strong barricading on almost every road in the New Delhi district.

Police Commissioner Balaji Srivastava issued an order late on Wednesday evening, saying that the policemen who are on leave will also have to reach Jantar Mantar in uniform at 8 am on Thursday.

At the same time, the policemen who are at home in Delhi and can reach Jantar Mantar in an hour, they can be called there anytime.
